Grid interconnection protection

The relay type NA60 can be typically used in radial or meshed MV and LV networks as feeder or power transformer protection:

  • on radial, ring and parallel feeders of any length in solidly grounded, ungrounded, Petersen coil and/or resistance grounded systems
  • on parallel connected generators on the same busbar
  • Moreover undervoltage and overvoltage functions are provided as protections or voltage controls.
The NA60 relay can be can be shipped with circuits for input phase current suitable for traditional CTs and VTs, or combined ThySensor devices.

The NA60 relay complies with CEI-016 standard

The relay type NA30 is typically used in radial MV networks as feeder or power transformer protection:

  • On long radial feeders in ungrounded or Petersen coil and/or high resistance grounded systems
  • On the LV side of parallel connected transformers with any grounding
  • As earth fault protection of parallel connected generators or generator-transformer unit on the same busbar
