XA10
The XA10 protection relay is designed to ensure safety and reliability in medium-voltage radial networks, offering advanced protection for lines, power transformers, and rotating machines.

Reliable Earth Fault Protection
  • In systems with solidly grounded neutral, XA10 provides effective protection against earth faults on lines of any length.
  • In systems with isolated neutral or neutral grounded through Petersen coil and/or resistor, it ensures protection on short lines, preventing unwanted tripping caused by capacitive current contributions during external faults.
Advanced Protection Functions
In addition to phase overcurrent and residual overcurrent protection, XA10 includes:

  • Minimum current protection
  • Negative sequence overcurrent
  • Inverse/positive sequence current ratio monitoring
  • Thermal image protection for lines and transformers
  • Thermal image protection for motors and generators
  • Restricted earth fault protection (low impedance)
  • Rotor lock detection and maximum number of motor starts
Monitoring and Control
