For our Milan office, we are looking for a Sales Area Manager for the district including Piedmont, Liguria, Valle D'Aosta and Sardinia

Position purpose: 

The figure sought, placed in the area will have the task of developing the reference market for Thytronic's offer lines in the assigned area of competence both for the platform of established Customers and identifying and evaluating new potential Customers.


  • Ensure the planning and implementation of sales, prescription and promotion activities in the area of competence;
  • Ensuring prescription and update activities at engineering offices and specialised firms;
  • Elaborating and drafting complex technical/commercial offers, coordinating with the various company figures involved in order to ensure adequate technical, contractual and commercial detail;
  • Maintaining relationships and business relations with customers through periodic visits and contacts as well as guaranteeing quality support;
  • Providing useful information for the planning and implementation of sales budgets for the area of competence;
  • Handling ordinary business negotiations in person;
  • Ensuring the collection, analysis and transmission of useful information for the definition of appropriate sales and marketing strategies;
  • Maintain and update the CRM as a tool for the management of:Opportunity development; Offer development; Commercial activity.
  • Collaborating actively and constantly with the sales team for the development of multi-area opportunities and cross-selling activities.
  • Evaluate and monitor assigned Clients in terms of creditworthiness, also with the support of other company functions, in order to promptly undertake any actions for credit recovery;

Requirements and skills

  • High school diploma or higher education with preference for technical (electrotechnical-electrical);
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years in technical preventive and/or commercial field in the electrical production and/or distribution sector
  • Strong Team Working and Problem Solving skills;
  • Excellent attitude to time management and reaching targets;
  • Empathy;
  • Good knowledge of the Office package;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
