COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Performing tests and commissioning of protection relays and remote control equipment at customers' electrical substations. The activities will concern: configuration of devices; verification of electrical connections to measurement transformers and switches; verification of communication to supervision and control systems, development, implementation and testing of automation logics; verification of device functionality by means of special protection relay test instrumentation; analysis of events and oscilloperturbographic recordings.
Drafting of the end of works technical report.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in electrical or electrotechnical field
Previous experience in commissioning work preferred
Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting diagrams and circuit diagrams required
Knowledge of controlling devices by means of primary and secondary injections with verification and search of the intervention threshold by means of relay test equipment required
Knowledge of PLC logic processing preferred
Basic knowledge of computer network infrastructures preferred
Preferable knowledge of electrical work safety regulations (CEI 11-27) in compliance with the Operational Safety Plan (OSP)
Knowledge of SCADA systems appreciated
Good knowledge of the office package and AUTOCAD
Willingness to travel and relocate also during holidays
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Flexibility and adaptability
Good interpersonal skills
English knowledge is appreciated
