TECHNICAL OPERATIONS & IT SECURITY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

POSITION PURPOSE

The candidate will be based at Thytronic’s Milan office, within the Technical Department, and will play a cross-functional support role. They will assist both the IT and Project Management departments in activities related to cybersecurity (ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443), operational management of IoT devices in a cloud environment (AWS), and documentation and testing of solutions for the electrical sector (medium voltage).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Management and IT in managing ISO/IEC 27001 compliance (document collection, activity tracking, audit support).
Assist the PMO in activities related to IEC 62443 standards, focusing on:

- Product testing

- Collection and drafting of technical documentation

Perform operational and administrative tasks on an AWS-based platform for IoT device management:

- User creation and management

- Device addition and monitoring

- Periodic checks and basic maintenance activities

Collaborate with the IT team on basic networking tasks (e.g., connectivity checks, basic configuration).
Execute simple scripts (in Python or Lua) to automate repetitive tasks or support testing.
Maintain technical and operational documentation related to managed processes.
Administer the release of X.509 certificates for devices via internal CA.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Mandatory:

Basic knowledge of networks and communication protocols
Experience (even academic) with basic scripting in Python or Lua
Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and web-based tools
Attention to documentation, organization, and precision
Interest in the IoT and industrial sectors

Preferred:

Basic understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts (IEC 62443)
Theoretical experience with ISO/IEC 27001 certification processes
Experience with ticketing and task management tools (e.g., easyredmine)
Basic technical knowledge of industrial electrical devices (nice to have)
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel with different deadlines
