JUNIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER

The candidate will be part of an engineering team and, starting from the analysis of the customer's functional and specification requirements, will define the project architecture, develop and configure the system, and finally follow the factory (FAT) and customer (SAT) tests.

The main activities will be:

PLC automation logic realisation in Codesys / IEC 61131 language
Creation of SCADA applications and HMI interfaces: databases, graphic pages, alarms
Configuring LAN networks with industrial switches, in particular setting up VLANs on radial and ring topologies
Use of protocols specific to the energy/utilities sector: IEC 61850, IEC 60870-104, Modbus
Management of project documentation such as functional specifications, user documentation, instructions and procedures

Ability to manage time to tackle projects and meet deadlines.

Technical skills

Ability to read electrical diagrams, in particular relating to relay logic
Basic knowledge of PLC/Codesys IEC 61131 programming.
Familiarity with programming languages (preferably scripting languages: VBS, Javascript, LUA)
Good ability to use the Office suite, in particular Excel

Place of work:

Padua

Availability for travel both to customers (mainly in Italy) and to group companies (Milan and Barcelona) is required
